MinersIndonesia.info -  General Purpose & Focus of Role KTT (Kepala Teknik Tambang) is to provide leadership during the mobilization, construction and mining operation of the project in good mining practice in accordance with Kepmen ESDM No 1827 K 30 MEM Year 2018 and Permen ESDM 26 Year 2018. Maintain clear lines of communications with community leaders, governmental departments and management.  Manage the development of monthly HSE reports.

Areas of Responsibility as KTT

    The specific areas of responsibility of the role include, but are not limited to:

• Create Good Mining Practice.
• Develop and finalize RKAB (Rencana Kerja & Anggaran Belanja/ Work Plan & Budget) and RJPP (Rencana Jangka Panjang Perusahaan/ Company Long Term Plan).
• Prepare periodic report to Government Bodies; i.e., RKL/RPL progress.
• Oversee mining activities as per mining standards & regulations.
• Manage mining contractors and possess good knowledge in Contractor Management System.
• Coordinate and implement effective mine closure.
• Act as management representative in term of HSE Management System.
• Create good relationship with local Community in mine area.

This is a high-level role that requires a high level of integrity and honesty, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate a multi-disciplinary team as well as senior management team.

Critical Competencies Required As KTT

    The following Competencies are critical to the success of the incumbent:  

• Indonesian National with over 15 years’ experience in coal mining industry
• Bachelor degree in Mining/Geology Engineering from reputable university
• Has worked for large recognized company in the mining industry
• Possess a minimum POM Certification, preferable POU Certification and KTT Certification from Ministry of Energy Mineral Resources Indonesia Republic (Dirjen Minerba)
• Hands-on experience in Mining Operations and SHE Systems in mining industry
• Good networks with Government Bodies, Regulators and Associations; both local and national
• Fluent in English, written and verbal is a must
• Able to convince, persuade and influence people in high level interaction
• Self-confident and tactful to communicate with people in every level within the organization/corporate
• Good health and able to work under pressure with good result and always seek best solution to solve problem
• Willing to be placed at the Site with working a roster.

• Maintain a strong working relationship with the current and/or potential Contractors as well as understanding the market in which they operate in order to enhance the Company’s likelihood of awarding further work.
• Execute the strategic direction and the business model and ensure it delivers value, both in the short and long term.
• Identifies internal/external business risks and develops appropriate risk management plans
